We are looking for a Staff Accountant to work on a 6-month contract with possible transition to a permanent employee.

• Perform Accounts Receivable (AR) functions such as billing and collections
• Follow up with case managers and clients on collections and any AR related issues
• Monitor the work-in-progress of cases, capture them into Lawson
• Submit requests and queries to the Lawson team based in the US
• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end closing process 
• Prepare account reconciliations and assist in month-end reports
• Maintain fixed assets registries
• Assist in statutory audits and quarterly tax filings
• Ad hoc reporting and tasks

• Bachelor's degree in in Accounting, Finance or a relevant discipline
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the commercial accounting field, preferably with a background from consulting/service companies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in both written and verbal English and Cantonese
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Experience with Lawson, online billing/procurement system a plus
• Immediately availability preferred
