Key Responsibilities

• Report to the President, Finance & Operations and play a key leadership role in the finance team of the sub-group, in particular with an immediate task of preparing the sub-group for a spin-off listing exercise.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as external auditors, bankers, sponsors, lawyers, investors in driving the spin-off exercise.
• Responsible for the financial and taxation matters, including but not limited to financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting and forecast process, statutory and tax reporting.
• Ensure the reporting integrity and accuracy of the sub-group, including compliance with accounting standards, listing rules and statutory requirements.
• Ensure effective financial control policies and procedures are in place, including accounting policies, internal reporting standards and control framework.
• Provide support to corporate development initiatives, such as new acquisitions or strategic partnerships, new business or market expansions, etc.

Requirements

• A qualified accountant with 12+ years of experience, preferably with Big 4 audit experience. Having IPO, M&A or capital market fund raising experience would be an advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge, including accounting standards and listing rules requirements. Having company secretarial knowledge would be a plus.
• Sound experience in internal controls, systems and process implementation and improvements.
• Attention to details with good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Good business acumen with strong execution capability and be able to thrive in a fast paced, high-performing environment.
