About this role

Directly report to the General Manager and Directors, this role is perfect for a self-starter who is seeking an opportunity to gain a variety of experience and knowledge working with almost every team members in the corporate office. This is a rare opportunity to gain broad experience at a tightly-knit startup that's passionate about energy saving.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for handling full set of accounts
  • Handle monthly and quarterly management reports and consolidation reports of various subsidiaries located in Hong Kong and other countries
  • Support and monitor all daily finance, accounting operations and company secretary duties for Hong Kong, South Africa and overseas businesses
  • Prepare budget, cash flow forecast and financial analysis
  • Collect, check, prepare and review relevant finance and accounting documents
  • Participate in external audit, taxation, banking and compliance issue
  • Participate in project management
  • Assist in internal control enhancement
  • Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are in compliance
  • Liaise with internal and external departments and related companies
  • Coordinate with other (foreign) accounting team members to provide timely and accurate management reports
  • Perform inter-group transactions and reconciliation
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and tasks as required

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent is a must
  • Possess a professional qualification (e.g. CPA/ACCA) is highly preferable
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Keen to learn, be responsible, self-motivated,capable of meeting deadline and working under pressure
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • Familiar with company secretary is a plus
  • Familiar with MYOB book keeping in multi-currency is a plus
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Immediate available is an advantage
