About our Client

Our client is a long-established organization providing high end hospitality services.  

  

Job Purpose

1. To direct and supervise the HR function and formulate the overall human resources strategy whilst ensuring the laid down policies and procedures are implemented as appropriate.

2. To monitor the implementation of learning and development strategies to meet organisational needs and to develop talents ensuring they are given the opportunities to perform to their full potential. Establish and manage relevant organisational development initiatives to support the organisation’s core value and strategic business objectives.

 

Key Accountabilities

1. Ensure strategic business objectives are supported through the provision and application of HR solutions.

2. Design policies, procedures and other guidelines to be applied and maintained

3. Work closely with the General Manager to strategise and achieve the business goals

4. Act as a business partner within the management team

5. Supervise the formulation and implementation of Human Resources policies, rules and practices.

6. Ensure compliance with the local labour regulations at all times. Provide immediate feedback to Management on any abnormalities.

7. Act as an advisor in terms of all other employee related matters such as counseling, grievance handling, fair disciplining to ensure the best possible labour relations.

8. Advise management and employees regarding Code of Conduct, grievance procedures and monitor the process.

9. Monitor and review the HR and administrative practices in a timely manner.

10. Formulate and manage the Human Resources and Training budget.

11. Provide coaching to the leadership team in areas of HR and people management

12. Supervise the Learning and Development Manager and monitor the training and development programmes.

13. Ensure that all staff training activities are conducted in a structured manner, recorded and reviewed and that they are conducive to the career development of individual staff member and the maintenance of the organisation’s prescribed service standards.

14. Monitor the performance review process

15. Develop a structured succession plan to develop high potential staff

16. Review the organisation’s compensation and benefits package and keep update the market trend with the General Manager.

 

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above in any discipline

2. A minimum of 15 years’ work experience, of which at least 8 years at managerial level  

3. Experience with hospitality or catering a must

4. Strategic yet hands-on leadership

5. Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders. Strong presentation skill.

6. Excellent English and Cantonese
