Orbis Investment Management (Hong Kong) Limited is based in Hong Kong and responsible for research and investment management in Global Emerging Markets.  We are actively growing from our current base of approx. 10 professionals.

 

The Opportunity

Orbis is looking for a Receptionist in our Hong Kong office.  Competitive salary and benefits.

 

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

  • Reception duties, incl. greeting clients and investee company management teams, and other visitors.
  • Providing general office support including handling phone enquiries, deliveries, photocopying, meeting room bookings, stationery re-ordering, typing, filing, and mail.
  • Crockery and grocery management.
  • Calendar management and associated tasks such as booking conference rooms, audio-visual equipment, documentation, and meeting scheduling.
  • Organising administrative activities for the smooth running of the team and office, including co-ordination with Orbis’ global locations.
  • Assisting in event organisation.

 

Qualifications

  • University degree preferred but not required.
  • Up to 5 years’ work experience. Candidates from the hospitality or aviation industries are very welcome to apply.
  • Full proficiency in written and spoken English, fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese.
  • Ability to think independently.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, work under-pressure, and prioritise.
  • Enthusiastic, humble, willingness to learn, strong work ethic.
