Job Description

Primary Purpose

We are seeking a hands-on people manager (a team of over 30 people) to own the overall management of HR services across Asia. In this role, you will partner closely with the business and our outsourced partners to continue evolving our HR service delivery model and to ensure that we are meeting set standards and expectations. You will own the continued evolution of our HR processes, policies and practices and drive continued optimization of the delivery model.

You will ensure that processes and solutions are scalable, sustainable as well as compliant. You will drive continuous improvement within the HR function drawing on external and internal standard methodologies and leading-edge HR thinking on initiatives. You’ll partner with HR Shared Services leaders, as well as other HR groups, to ensure a consistent and seamless end-to-end employee experience, while continually improving and streamlining processing and auditing. 

Responsibilities:

  • Build up and execute Global / Asia People Service model and the outsourced services framework
  • Manage the vendor to deliver HR transactional support across Asia; create baseline for measurement of customer satisfaction according to SLA
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement and improvements and then lead initiatives that deliver HR service upgrades and operational excellence
  • Manage business requirements from internal stakeholders and find workable solutions
  • Optimize and document Global HR operational processes and ensure smooth operation and delivery of services
  • Lead compliance efforts through SOX, Corporate Audits, internal/external audits, and privacy
  • Lead and manage end-to-end payroll processes across Asia and ensure high quality payroll results
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations and policies
  • Ensure all required controls are documented and executed to meet the internal/external audit requirements
  • Seek continuous improvement opportunities of payroll processes

Basic requirements:

  • Masters degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • Over 15 years of work experiences in large multinational company, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience from similar position in heading large scale HR operations in the region
  • Experienced change agent with the ability to initiate, implement and drive change
  • Excellent communication skills and English fluency
