Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Sourcing and Staffing

  • Selection and on-boarding.
  • Prepare recruitment analysis.
  • Write job descriptions for new roles / new structures.
  • Propose the appropriate recruitment channels for different staff types and levels.
  • Write advertisements and job postings according to the job specification.
  • Seek internal transfer opportunities within company after Performance Review Results have been announced.
  • Screen applications and initiate interview process, including the interview of junior staff. Propose remuneration package and negotiate with the candidates and line departments.
  • Review the effectiveness of orientation program.
  • Assist in drafting or reviewing recruitment procedures and policies.

 

Reward Management  

  •  Manage pay and system effectively
  • Source and benchmark various medical and insurance schemes.
  •  Assist in conducting job evaluation and HR budgeting.  
  •  Process the analysis for job reallocation.
  • Assist in consolidating the data of performance-management reviews and calculate bonuses.
  • Review and revise performance-review mechanism to ensure openness and fairness of reward system.
  • Coordinate annual budget, bonus and PMS exercise.
  • Ensure services delivered by service providers reach an agreed / expected level.

 

Employee Relationships and Engagement

  • Co-ordinate and manage staff events to aligns with company directions and needs.
  • Seek and listen to formal and informal employee feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Appropriate use of employee-engagement tools to gather staff opinion, e.g. exit interviews.
  • Give appropriate answers to staff enquiries on ER issues.
  • Facilitate the understanding and implementation of update staff policies and procedures.
  • Propose and design engagement activities.
  • Assist in promoting a balance in wellness / work life.
  • Formulate measures to address constructive feedback from employees.
  • Be aware of the dynamics of different staff groups.
  • Provide specialist advice which will lead to resolving grievances and complaints.
  • Ensure that the right industrial-relations principles are adhered to in dealing with staff policies and staff procedures.

 

Learning and Development

  • Training needs and delivery
  • Conduct training needs analysis.
  • Source suitable L&D programs for staff.
  • Assist in conducting an analysis of training needs.
  • Propose course outlines with reference to training and business needs.
  • Assist in drafting learning and development policies and procedures.
  • Review the effectiveness of training programs, especially core programs such as orientation, performance management.
  • Revise training materials and outlines based on feedback and evaluation from participants.
  • Deliver training programs for junior grade.

 

 JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related discipline.
  • At lease 8 years' managerial experience in all round HR functions, especially in payroll for Hong Kong and China.
  • Proficiency of the Hong Kong and China labor law and regulatory.
  • Able to lead and motivate the team to achieve high performance.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with people at all levels and different culture.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, manage projects and handle multiple responsibilities while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Experience in using HRIS MRC system is definite and advantage.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken of English and Mandarin.
  • Proficient in MS office such as Word, Excel, Power point and Chinese word processing.
