Responsibilities:

• Assist to Manage Corporate Budget
  • Understand the strategic focuses of the organisation and business plans of different business units
  • Document the various funding and subvention from the Government
  • Assist budget formulation and funding allocation, and monitor funding usage to facilitate changes in business needs
• Coordinate and Liaise with Divisions
  • Work closely with divisions and worldwide offices to understand their plans, latest changes, expenditure that are likely to incur, and align budget usage
  • Oversee budget usage and inputs of information in system
  • Efficiently liaise regular progress update vs budget and goals
• Prepare Regular Reports
  • Assist to compile reports for Management and the Government
  • Reconcile information from different reports, maintain a good record for quick and ease of access to information
  • Support Manager on ad-hoc tasks and documentations

 Requirements:

• Post-secondary education, with minimum 2 years of work experience preferably in project planning and management, business analysis, and with exposure in customer services and/or internal stakeholder management.  
• Accounting experience or professional accounting qualification is NOT required.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Proficient in MS Office including MS Excel.
• Sensitive to numbers – Able to cut and dice budget details according to business needs. Always keep a clear mind about the numbers, stories, and reasons.
• Good business acumen – Able to comprehend the strategic ideas of Management and the initiatives of business units, and switch minds to facilitate the needs of each side.
• Good communication skill – Able to effectively communicate, interact, and build a close working relationship with individuals from different business units.
• Agile and flexible – Be adaptable to new tasks and change of plan, manage ad-hoc requests that require fast turnaround and with limited past reference.
