Job

• Monitor the accounting operations and supervise accounting staff to perform daily operations, clients audit confirmation, month-end accounting closing, financial reporting, tax planning and internal control
• Compile financial reports to meet the requirements of head office on timely basis
• Review HKMA Banking Returns filing
• Assist in year end audit and quarterly regulatory disclosure to HKMA according to banking disclosure rules
• Support and participate in various ad hoc assignments or projects as required

Requirements

• Degree or above in Accounting and Finance or related discipline
• Qualified accountant of accounting professional bodies
• With at least 8 years relevant financial accounting experience in banks of which 4 years in managerial position
• Solid experience in HKMA Banking Returns
• Big 4 training
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible with high integrity and pro-active, good team-player, self starter and meticulous
• Proficient in MS office applications (Excel & PowerPoint)
• Hands-on experience in SUN accounting system is an advantage
• Good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
