Job Responsibilities:

• Set a strong example of BESTSELLER’s Culture and Values through the founding principles

• Responsible for research of seasonal themes and inspirations for R&D
• Responsible for design direction & development for R&D
• Must have a deep understanding of all global tendencies
• Support our BESTSELLER ASIA supplier and merchandising teams in relations to design, capsule collection development, presentations, gap and express business
• Ensure that Asia Retail Analysis is completed and sent out on time (Men’s and Women’s - every 3rd week; Kid’s and Accessories – every 6th week, with the flexibility of sending out the following week from Men's and Women's)
• Ensure that Fabric Sourcing Report is completed and sent out on time (every 6-8 weeks)
• Ensure that the Instagram post is uploaded on time (at least once a week - every Wednesday)
• Ensure that Trend Feed is ready, to be presented on time (every 3 months)
• Ensure that the full process of the seasonal trend books is completed, and ready to be presented at our BESTSELLER ASIA Strategic Sourcing Seminars and related meetings
• Ensure that the fabrics, trimmings, style and design direction is appropriate and relevant in terms of commerciality and price for R&D
• Responsible for R&D design deadlines; 2D sketches with tech packs and 3D sketches with suppliers support must follow the deadlines agreed with merchandisers/suppliers/ brands
• Responsible for approval of all fabrics, trimmings, styling, fitting and samples
• Ensure that the assigned projects present on time and reach the deadline
• Business and inspiration trips to the markets, shops, seminars, fairs, trade shows, fashion shows, suppliers and to Denmark

  Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Fashion & Textiles or related discipline
• 3 - 5 years of experience in Menswear and Womenswear Design
• Creative & Innovative in fashion design and enthusiastic
• Diligent and always up-to-date with latest international fashion trends   
• Highly structured with a good eyes for aesthetics  
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Self-motivation, enthusiasm & passion, capable, good team player
• Excellent in both PC and Adobe programs; Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, video editing, Tech-savvy
• Fluent in spoken & written English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Experienced with European buyer is preferred
• Occasional travel is required
• Immediate Available Preferred
