We are looking for a highly-driven and motivated Operations Manager - Logistics to join our fun, professional and dedicated Logistics Team based here in Hong Kong. The logistics team is responsible for the management of the walkers and riders team by ensuring efficient daily operations and constantly exploring new angles to further enhance the logistics setup. Roles and Responsibilities

  • As the overall responsible for the live operations will be working closely with the Head of Logistics to provide a better experience to our customers through more efficient logistics and fleet management
  • Monitor & improve the performance and compliance of foodpanda’s fleet.
  • You will also be responsible for developing new SOPs, new processes and automated solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency of riders’ operations including payment automation & remittance reconciliations.
  •  Analytics; Track KPIs to improve operations performance, through clear review and process improvement on efficiency and bring the customer experience to the next level
  • Daily supervision of the foodpanda’s rider call center & the rider support team (ticket system)
  • Support the performance manager to improve rider supply and cost-efficiency
  • Support the rollout of new product features
  • Organize churn reduction campaigns
  • Monitor local emergency situations and find appropriate solution

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree holder in economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering or any other quantitative similar field 
  • At least 2 years of work experience in consulting, logistics, operational field or high growth startups
  • At least 1 year of work experience in managing a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and reliability
  • Strong analytical skills and number-driven
  • Has the ability to see trends and transform them to meaningful insights
  • Open-minded and eager to learn even the most minimal detail of the business
  • Willing to question the status quo when necessary
  • Need to be a doer and adapt constantly to many changes. We have lots of data, you will play with it and make decisions upon that
