Senior Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer

Job responsibilities:

• Able to close monitor projects development schedule especially the plastic tooling and metal tooling development schedule and handle related technical issues.
• Develop automatic assembly process base on the design requirement
• Work with Contract manufacturer to setup and qualify production assembly process
• Support continuous production improvement actions to increase the production yield and efficiency
• Design and develop the packaging of various products.
• Work closely with suppliers and internal departments in both mechanical and packaging design

Job requirements:

• Higher diploma or above in Mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering or Manufacturing engineering.
• Over 5 years’ experience on wireless consumer electronics manufacturing industry such as Set Top Box, Wi-Fi router and power line modem, etc. Less experience will be considered as Mechanical Engineer
• Sound technical knowledge of metal tooling, plastic tooling and mold flow analysis
• Familiar with CAD software such as Solid Work, Pro-E and AutoCad.
• Experience and knowledge of automatic assembly process and development is preferred.
• Experience and knowledge in Six-sigma tools is preferred.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin and good PC skills.
• Team player with well-developed interpersonal skills
• Proactive, self-motivated and excellent communication skills.
• Frequent travel to China and oversea.
