We are now looking for an Internal Communications Manager to join the Product Operations team.
This is a highly cross-functional role, partnering with teams across the Viu organisation including (but not limited to) the PMO, Product, Marketing, Sales, Content Management, and the Customer and Internal Support teams. This person will help manage the development of internal communications to help keep partner teams informed, inspired, and connected to our mission. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and support product initiatives that will directly impact our people and company culture. The ideal candidate will excel at working collaboratively with colleagues in other teams and will play a key role in the product development and management for unified communication. Candidates should be strong communicators and creative thinkers and have a love for documenting and telling great stories. Attention to detail, ability to remain flexible in a fast paced environment, and organization skills are critical. You should be passionate about the services we provide and the people that we serve.

Key Responsibilities

•          Support the communications needs of the Product and PMO team by writing, editing, and/or distributing content.
•          Influence and partner with cross-functional communicators to develop and execute proactive and strategic communication initiatives.
•          Maintain the Product and PMO communications calendar, keeping track of what is distributed, when, and in what medium.
•          Manage communication across multiple channels: Virtual Townhalls, Chat, Email.
•          Support the ongoing maintenance and evolution of team Confluence pages and decks to ensure information is current, accurate, and relevant.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in your new position, it is essential to have the following skills:

•          Bachelor's degree.
•          3+ years’ experience in communications and/or project management or operations.
•          Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
•          Experience in solving problems using judgment and analysis, providing overall project/program guidance and support.
•          Experience with product marketing, go-to-market communication, and/or hosting, coordinating events and messaging will be an advantage.
•          Experience in developing and executing communication plans, managing cross-functional projects, and developing programming around multi-dimensional topics will be an advantage.
•          Experience communicating to broad audiences using various channels will be an advantage.
•          Experience in corporate communications will be an advantage.
