Responsibilities:

• Manage projects independently E2E from costing, product development to shipment with factories, inform his/ her supervisor timely with counter solutions in the right time.
• Work on items/projects that involved various suppliers, materials, product formats & working processes.
• Quote review and understand design intent of bid packages, proactively provide alternative design solutions to cost challenged product, which retain the aesthetic and quality requirements as well as achieving cost saving objective.
• Evaluate product and do final approval, review packaging construction, select suitable production process and appropriate testing method to fulfill the requirements.
• Work with technical teammate to set up specification in system. Maintain updates in system (FlexPLM/SAP) on Job/PO/contract levels.

 Requirements:

• Tertiary education or above
• At least 5 years of procurement experience preferably in gifts category (Seasonal & everyday home décor, home textiles and fabrics, knitting apparel, etc.).
• Working experience in product development and engineering is a definite advantage.
• Versatile, agile, strong sourcing and negotiation skills.
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Outlook. Knowledge in Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop) is preferable.
• Good communication skills including English and Mandarin.
• Travel to China / Southeast Asia factories are required if needed.
