• Manage and improve operations workflow. Allocate resources to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
• Identify potential issues in the laboratory; analyze and provide timely resolution of technical problems.
• Provide technical consultation for client as required.
• Expertise in analytical testing methods and legal requirement.
• Provide training to technical staff as required.
• Provide technical advice on new test capability development.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Implement, maintain and improve the quality management system according to requirements in ISO/IEC 17025.

Job Requirement:

• Degree holder or above, preferable in analytical chemistry or textile chemistry or equivalent discipline.
• At least 10 years’ solid experience in laboratory supervision/management.
• Familiarity with International Standards and regulations in the textile industry.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and accreditations requirement.
• Knowledge in operating analytical instruments, including but not limited to LC-MSMS, GC-MSMS and ICP-MS, AAS, UV-Vis etc.
• Excellent leadership skills to manage, motivate and coach team members to ensure delivery of quality service in a timely manner.
• Analytical mindset, logical thinking, good trouble shooting and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
