Upon expansion of their strategic sourcing, they are now looking for a confident and committable Assistant Quality Officer to join their enjoyable and winning team.

Job Description

You will be the key person to perform the following duties:

• Ensure products (lighting, or home products) meet quality, legal and safety requirements and due diligence
• Support and advise merchandisers to ensure products selected comply with UK/European standards and internal company requirements
• Ensure working practices aligned with UK/HK team, understood and implemented by suppliers and third party inspection and testing companies
• Coordinate with external test laboratories to ensure appropriate testing of products
• Perform factory assessment in relation to Quality and Ethical standards
• Manage the Quality Management System to ensure quality deliveries of products and services
• Manage and respond to quality assurance issues with related divisions
• Report to management for any product incident investigation
• Accountable for internal process and supplier sourcing improvement projects

Why you?

• At least 3 year of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control from sourcing / buying office / retail / manufacturing background
• Degree holder
• Product exposure from lighting, domestics appliances, electronics, home decor, seasonal are definite advantage
• Stress-resistant and able to make balanced decisions
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluently written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
