Operations

• Manager daily distribution center production, control service levels and commit budgeted unit throughput performance
• Provide daily supervision of warehouse to ensure the safe, clean and efficient operation of the distribution center.
• Work with Stakeholders to ensure smooth inventory movement and manage / develop Inventory Control Team
• Update Logistics Procedure Manual as and when required
• As key holder of the warehouse and safes in the high value area

• Work with merchandising, operations management and stock control to manage distribution services for stores in all divisions
• Schedule and attend periodical visit/meeting with store management and division merchandising team
• Work with Director, Logistics to establish annual logistics goals

• Oversee the daily manpower allocation and work assignment; make adjustment to staff allocation where necessary
• Direct the operations of the distribution center personnel to achieve prescribed objectives
• Work with HR in organizing training to logistics team
• Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, counseling and disciplining subordinates

Equipment

• Develop procedures and oversee its execution ensure maximum efficiency and utilization of all distribution center equipment

Safety

• Develop programs and oversee its implementation assure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property

Reporting

• Assure the accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution and retention of all necessary reports regarding distribution center operations, i.e. Monthly & Annual UPH, Monthly Cycle Time, Weekly Problem PO List & OSD, Weekly Logistics Update to Managing Director and Logistics Director

• Monitor and maintain warehouse expenses and budgets as set by management

Others

• Perform any other duties as directed by management
• Deputize the Logistics Director when he is out of the office

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
• At least 10 years related working experience in Retail / Wholesaling Company; and prior experience in a management role, preferably with Inventory Control epxerience
• Experience with global ERP implementation
• Experience in negotiating and managing 3rd party suppliers
• Meticulous, analytical and adept with numbers
• Task and detail-minded, self-motivated, good team player with profound interpersonal and communication skill
• Good leadership, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, to manage and achieve deadline
• Well-versed in ERP system and MS office application, e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook and Chinese Words Processing
• Proficient in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Immediately available is highly preferred
