Job Description
You will be responsible for achieving growth plans and successful retention of domestic and multinational business through providing underwriting services to support Property underwriters.
In addition to this, you will be assisting in the underwriting and administration of insurance and reinsurance business according to SLA’s and KPI targets.
Responsibilities
- Providing support to underwriters in underwriting and administration of insurance and reinsurance business and processes, proactively managing accounts and supporting the planning of forthcoming renewals
- Supporting Regional Asia Accounts, end-to-end procedure execution and SLA. As well as managing issuance/servicing process, system updating etc
- Providing Broker and Business Development support incl. certificate issuance, invoicing duties, policy status information, conducting market research and obtaining market information
- Performing data gathering and preparing rating manuals and standard documents (e.g. slips, cover notes, debit notes) ensuring data quality and consistency
- Supporting portfolio analysis, quarterly / annual reporting and portfolio management activities to assist achievement of financial targets
Requirements
- 1-4 years of relevant experience in general insurance, and underwriting process or underwriting services. Knowledge in Property products is preferred
- Bachelor degree or College Diploma holder or holder of professional qualification in Insurance
- Good communication, presentation and people skills
- Detail minded with strong analytical skill
- Work independently and a team player
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
