• To lead sub-teams to achieve sales targets in pursuit of the most favourable terms and profitability to the company.
• Accountable for new business sales targets
• Assist in developing and maintaining a sales strategy and business plan for intermediaries and direct clients. Use the business plan as a roadmap for setting/developing sales goals.
• Focus on maintaining and deepening relationships with intermediaries to create increased sales opportunities. Be seen and treated by Channel partners as a trusted and valued resource to them.
• Communicate and cascade the agreed sales strategy to the sales team clearly and effectively
• Work with marketing closely to access current sales tools and drive the creation of new solutions.
• Collaborate with marketing to plan, deliver and manage an effective communication and demand generation campaign for each channel partner
• Support Head of Commercial Sales on development and execution of new business strategies; adhere to available resources and sales objectives; build team-to-team engagement.
• Lead discussion in driving new business with direct customers and form strategies with HR and key stakeholders
• Establish and execute on a business plan for acquiring and enabling channel partners.
• To provide training, coaching, mentoring, and supervision for staff.
• To liaise with the various Operations Departments with the aim to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the customer journey.
• To participate in the various new initiatives and service enhancement projects.

• Bachelor degree in business or equivalent with 5 – 10 years’ solid on the job experience including 1 – 5 years’ management experience in leading a sales team in the insurance field is preferred. Experience in medical insurance business is also preferred.
• Possess valid general insurance license.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills are required with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes.
• Background in the health insurance market, with experience in selling domestic (PMI) and international (IPMI) group business
• Established relationships with key intermediary partners in the HK market
• Previous experience of a complex and multi skilled customer facing roles within a contact Centre setting.
• A track record of achieving and exceeding productivity and quality targets.
• A strong understanding of the sales process and Channel Sales.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese, Mandarin beneficial
