Job Description

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities: 

Purchase Order Processing

  • Place purchase orders to brand owners as required to replenish stock in buffer warehouses
  • Communicate and follow up with brand owners order status to ensure on-time delivery
  • Monitor shipment progress, handle enquiries and provide updates to stakeholders as required
  • Handle and follow up damages, short shipments or discrepancy shipments etc with brand owners and 3PLs
  • CMS management with brand owners

Logistics Operations

  • Handle and monitor inbound shipment clearance and receipt for buffer warehouses
  • Handle full set of I/E shipping and logistics documents, and Tradelink custom declaration
  • Coordinate and follow up with 3PLs to ensure smooth receipt of import cargoes
  • Arrange and support in/out transportations of deliveries and transfers of commercial goods and POSM among buffer warehouses, optimizing storage and transportation costs
  • Handle and follow up ordering of dry goods from brand companies
  • Coordinate and follow up with 3PL for repack
  • Collect, check, handle and track payments to 3PLs
  • Execute inventory transactions in system to ensure correct update of stock records   

Others

  • Prepare and compile relevant reports, review and interpret data as appropriate
  • Assist in warehouse and inventory management, e.g. stocktaking, stock destruction, stock reconciliation
  • Assist in any ad-hoc projects or duties as required
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
  • 3+ years relevant working experience in supply chain, planning, logistics or inventory management
  • Solid experience in I/E procedure and regulation, incoterms, import duty and Tradelink declaration
  • Knowledge in warehouse and inventory management 
  • Knowledge in ERP system or database tools 
  • High proficiency in MS office applications
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese
  • Good written/verbal communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Detail-minded, self-motivating with strong sense of responsibility
