The Role

To cope with our business growth, we are looking for a Settlement Manager to join our Hong Kong team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. 

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operational in settlement;
• Manage settlement payments and receipts, daily/monthly summary report and position reconciliation;
• Formulate, review and update internal procedures and guidelines to improve operational efficiency and mitigate operational risk;
• Proactively review and streamline the operational work flow;
• Coordinate and liaise with internal and external parties including fund accountant, transfer agents, auditors and etc;
• Supervise team members in settlement team;
• Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects if necessary;
• Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience;
• Experience in using online banking is a must;
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and under pressure;
• Good communicator, highly self-motivated, attention to details and team player;
• Good command of both spoken and written English (Cantonese/Mandarin Advantageous);
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
