Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Group CEO and with a dotted reporting line to the Group CFO
• Understand the Group’s business risks and controls to perform risk assessment and audit assignments on business operations, corporate governance, listing and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with the external auditor to determine the scope of the internal audit or review engagements. 
• Provide quality Risk Assessment and Internal Control Review Reports to the Audit Committee with recommendations which are practical and reflect the context in which the business operates
• Liaise with all levels of management on audit issues and significant risks to ensure risk mitigation
• Facilitate enhancement in company policies and procedures as well as internal control system
• Perform ad-hoc projects/duties whenever assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines.
• Holder or finalist of professional qualification, e.g. HKICPA, ACCA, CIA or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years’ internal and/or external audit experience in a Big 4 audit firm and/ or in-house roles in large complex organizations with at least 2 years experience in the supervisory roles from listed companies. Candidates with less experience can be considered as Senior Internal Auditor
• Preferably with working experience in Biotechnology/ Health Science / Pharmaceutical industry
• Good knowledge of internal controls across various business cycles.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills, a team player, self-motivated and independent.
• Proficiency in both written and oral English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is a must; and
• Willingness to travel overseas.
