KPMG Tax Managed Services (TMS) team aims to combine its operational excellence, subject matter expertise and tools and technology to help organisations to transform the way that tax compliance is managed.
As a Project Manager in the TMS team, you will be supporting various projects including driving regional tax engagements by coordinating with all project stakeholders across different regions as well as participating in tax transformation projects which aim to provide our clients with better operational model and technology tool to manage their tax risks and simplify their tax compliance process.
Responsibilities
- Provide project management support to our TMS team across all regional and cross-team projects
- Develop detailed project plan to monitor and track progress to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Coordinate resources and work closely with both internal & external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of multiple projects
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
- Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
- Ensure any critical issues are reported and escalated to management as needed
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Lead and establish effective engagement project management office, governance and escalations channel
- Develop reporting tools and process maps to improve efficiency and provide better insight on project status
Requirements
- University graduate with a minimum of eight years of experience
- Experienced project manager, with strong PMO experience within a top tier organisation dealing with senior stakeholders. Experience may include running internal projects or change programmes within a large complex environment
- Superior organisational skills, detail-conscious, pro-active, hard-working, and resilient
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to take on and effectively manage multiple business-critical activities and tasks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with flexibility to adapt to senior stakeholders’ different working styles
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment, through adopting techniques and frameworks to create structure where it doesn't exist
- Experience in a professional services organisation an advantage
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and MS office suite is essential. Knowledge in Power BI and Tableau is preferred
- Dynamic, self-motivated and able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Fluency in English is essential for this role
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Manager or Assistant Manager
