Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance Office with financial and management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial and business analysis;
- Perform month-end closing procedures including the preparation and review of full sets of financial statements and related accounting records;
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of all financial transactions;
- Assist with the preparation of the annual statutory financial audit;
- Assist with the enhancement of financial and management reporting systems, internal controls, policies and procedures;
- Assist with cash management and investment accounting; and
- Any ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or other related discipline;
- CPA / Chartered Accountant equivalent qualification highly preferred;
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience; experience in the education sector is an added advantage;
- PC proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint, MS Word and Excel; knowledge of SAP will be a definite advantage;
- Detailed-minded, strong analytical skills, independent and be able to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines;
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills;
- Proactive, mature and adaptable to change; and
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
