Job Description
Our client is a HK listed company engaged in infrastructure sector. Despite COVID, the business had been growing and sustainable and profitable. Due to continued expansion, they are recruiting high caliber for Financial Planning & Analysis manager to join their finance team
Responsibilities:
- Perform financial and performance analysis to understand business drivers behind financial results, and recommend relevant actions Conduct variance analysis for monthly closing, sales, costs, inventory and other business KPIs.
- Identify unusual trend comparing to budget and past performance Conduct analysis on the retail business in aspects of P&L, operation budget and cost control
- Oversee the formulation and implementation of operational initiatives and business strategies to drive store excellence and profitability
- Actual figures should be confirmed before month end close for each cost center and ensure figures are accurate.
- Ensure correct allocation of costs between operating expense and capital expenditures
- Liaison with other finance teams both within and outside Asia region
- Analyse KPI reports, sales reports etc to assist business planning and efficiency improvement
- Support the Asia Pacific functional and finance teams in the monthly reporting and review
- Responsible for preparing annual 3 year plan for Categories
Requirements:
- Over 10 years of relevant experiences
- Degree in Finance, Statistics or related field
- Business Advisory Skills - Anticipates and takes initiative to identify customer/client concerns and proposes recommendations as appropriate. Able to interact with the customer/client as a business partner.
- Expresses thoughts clearly and succinctly, both orally and in writing; able to tailor communications for different audiences; listens well and effectively contributes to discussions;
