Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the CFO Asia.
- Based in Hong Kong office
- Lead a team of 3
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports, variance analysis, consolidation, ensure all reporting deadlines are met
- Prepare monthly cashflow and funding forecasts for the Asia region
- Liaise with overseas Country Finance Leads to ensure all finance & accounting activities are fully complied with group’s policies and IFRS
- Responsible for annual budgeting and forecasting activities
- Review, communicate and ensure effective implementation of process, system control, policies and procedures
- Manage relations with banks and Corporate office in relation to funding, transactional platforms and compliance
- Responsible for banking, taxation, audit and other related regulation requirements
- Formulate or review financial control policies and procedures and be responsible for improvements to strengthen operational efficiency
- Provide financial and business advices to Management
- Be a business partner working closely with Regional Functional owners to lead and drive the business & operation efficiency
- Assist top management in analyzing issues, preparing feasibility study and executing changes
- Manage, develop and coach staff to achieve the above
- Perform ad hoc duties as and when required
- Occasional travel is required
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant and Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in reporting and consolidation for regional & group level
- Experience working in regional office, MNC environment and matrix structure
- Knowledge or experience in procurement office / business will be an advantage
- Sound knowledge in latest accounting standards (IFRS)
- Excellent communication skills, open minded, proactive, detail-oriented and analytical thinking, ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Strong leadership, motivation and managerial skills
- Result driven and self-starter, and willing to accept challenges and work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese & Putonghua
- Advance user of MS Excel and PowerPoint. MS AX knowledge is definitely an advantage
- Immediate available preferred
