Our client is a global corporation with a presence in over 50+ countries across the globe serving consumers and corporations in the consumer technology and financial services sector. Over the years they have expanded rapidly through organic growth and with M&A and continue to have a pipeline of innovative products they are looking to bring to the market. As a result they are looking for a high calibre commercial finance executive to lead all financial matters for their strategic marketing plan.

Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance this is a newly created role responsible for:

• Strategically managing the marketing spend across the group and business units for campaigns, sponsorships, advertising, PR and KOLs
• Business partnering with the Heads of Divisions to analyse, monitor, track the effectiveness of campaigns to derive insight for success
• Support the business to compile proposals for major projects and campaigns for presentation to management
• Provide business intelligence with key data and analysis to support the strategic direction and focus for performance
• Have the foresight to recognize macro, geopolitical and regulatory impacts on the business to maximise opportunities
• Work with the business to identify new channels of revenue and how to capitalize in a profitable manner

This is a crucial role within the finance organization to support front line opportunities. Suitable candidates should have:

• ACA/CPA, CFA or MBA degree
• Trained in a Big 4 firm or have undergone a management trainee program with a blue chip multinational corporation
• Experience in the technology, ecommerce, fintech, or similar disruptive business
• Experienced in FP&A, strategic and commercial finance support
• Strong business partnering experience and excel in working with the front lines of the business to identify opportunities
• Enjoy understanding the business across multiple jurisdictions and problem solving
• Proven experience in building a new function, compiling financial models, templates and reporting cadence
• Strong relationship building skills and the confidence to work with different business units
• Confidence and gravitas to present to the senior management team and multiple stakeholders
• Enjoy working in a dynamic and rapidly expanding environment of change
