Associate, Financial Accounting, Financial Management 

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare external reports for Head Office, regulatory filings and internal reporting for financial oversight and analysis
• Preparation of BOCI group consolidation
• Liaise with various departments on IFRS9 impairment calculation
• Responsible for daily and month-end ledger closing
• Prepare annual financial statements in compliance with local GAAP
• Participate in new accounting and regulatory requirement implementation projects and FMD system development projects
• Manage internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, controls and policies
• Any other ad hoc assignments of accounting function

Skills & Experience

• University graduate, preferably in accounting/ finance related disciplines
• 2-3 year Big 4 audit experience in sizable financial institutions
• Good Chinese writing skills is preferred
• Good communication skills, including excellent spoken and written English and Mandarin
• Good team player, with ability to cope with pressure
• Independent, with strong motivation to learn, drive the desired result and embrace change
• Attentive to details with good quality and accuracy
• Qualified accountant with CPA accounting qualifications or equivalent is preferred
