Key Responsibilities:  

• Plan and implement Internal Audit Strategic Plan through dedicated audit plan, audit programs and audit field work on identified risky areas
• Develop new strategies to enhance audit efficiency and quality to achieve audit objectives and safeguard the company from risks
• Monitor and execute internal audits in accordance with the regulatory requirement, regional guidelines and company policies
• Verify and evaluate the validity and effectiveness of business performance, internal control and business management conditions
• Communicate recommendations for improvements with different stakeholders, drive the action plans and follow up the progress of implementation of remedial actions
• Communicate the audit findings with senior management and prepare audit reports for the Board and Audit Committee’s review
• Ensure the quality of internal audit function by leading and coaching subordinates in planning and conducting audit programs and audit field work, and reviewing the audit work done by the same

Requirement:

• Degree holder in Business/Accounting/Finance or related disciplines
• At least 8 years of experience in internal or external audit or risk management process improvement, preferably with 3 years in managerial level in sizable insurance or financial institutions
• Professional qualification or member of related professional bodies (such as CPA, CIA, etc.)
• Mature, independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, report writing and presentation skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
