Job Description

Our client, a well-established Bank in Hong Kong, is looking for a high-calibre candidate to join their Group:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform annual training needs analysis by partnering with key business stakeholders to identify skills or capabilities gaps and develop proper learning and people engagement solutions
  • Prepare and deliver learning and development programs to staffs including front-line, middle office, and back office. 
  • Provide sales and service training, leadership and management skills development, business knowledge and operations, product knowledge including wealth management and general banking products knowledge, compliance, etc  
  • Formulate the staff competency framework and core programs across all retail banking departments, map the competency standards to all staff training programs and obtain the accreditation from HKCAAVQ and HKQF
  • Identify, select and liaise with qualified training consultants to ensure programs and solutions are developed and delivered with quality against the needs or internal clients’ expectations
  • Develop and execute project plans, timelines, milestones and key measures for assigned deliverables and communications of designated programs / projects;
  • Excellent use of excel formulas to generate training reports, monitor the training completion progress, and draw the training analytics.
  • Ensure all of the training programs have fully complied with internal policies as well as relevant compliance standards and ensure staff are adhered to the anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and bank policies.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above.
  • Possession of CFP / CFA qualification is preferred
  • As least 5 years of banking and training experience in personal, private, and/or business banking
  • Hands-on experience in designing and developing training programs (including face to face classroom training, digital learning creation, e-Learning, video production, infographic presentation deck creation etc.), delivering staff activities, business development programs and HR projects
  • Self-initiative with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
