Job Description

The Law Society seeks applications from enthusiastic, responsible person to fill the position of Administration and Human Resources Officer in the Finance and Administration Department.

Job Duties:

  • To supervise Office Assistants on a daily basis;
  • To perform the duties in relation to office and warehouse’s facilities and security;
  • To arrange renovation and relocation work;
  • To perform the duties in relation to recruitment, logistical arrangements for incoming and outgoing staff;
  • To administer the personnel record e.g., attendance, leave record, emergency contact, organization chart etc.;
  • To assist in C&B administration;
  • To assist in preparing and monitoring of Administration and Human Resources annual budget and expenses;
  • To review and update various AHR policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance with legal requirements;
  • To assist in organisation of staff events including staff dinner, Christmas party and Spring Dinner, training and seminar etc.; and
  • To preform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related disciplines;
  • Minimum 5 years in similar capacity;
  • Well versed in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and other HR related ordinances;
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing; and
  • Immediate availability is preferable.
