HR & TALENT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Salary: HK$ 25,000 - 30,000
EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years
LOCATION: Hong Kong
We are a team of digital marketers based in Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Shanghai. We run two distinct branches: ALARICE (www.alarice.com.hk), a digital marketing agency with a focus on Chinese social media, and CHOZAN 超赞 (www.chozan.co), a digital consulting company. We are growing and are looking for an outstanding HR & TALENT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to join our team in Hong Kong. HERE'S WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Mainland Chinese professional is highly preferred
  • Degree holder with 2-5 years recruitment or HR experience
  • Exceptional communication skills, and ethical mindset, ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
  • Experience in educating and coaching staff, ability to give presentations.
  • Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Excellent active listening and negotiation skills. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems in Hong Kong and mainland China
  • Familiarity with HR software and working knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Holder of HKID or valid HK work permit and immediate availability is preferred
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Consistently recruiting excellent staff in Hong Kong and mainland China.
  • Onboarding newcomers to the company, training, counseling and coaching staff.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
  • Determining suitable salaries and remuneration. Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Managing succession planning of staff
  • Assisting with the performance management and review process
  • Developing clear policies and ensuring policy awareness.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Maintaining employee and workplace privacy.
  • Nurture a positive working environment and culture
  • Carrying out necessary administrative duties for employee on/off boarding, government paperwork, office operation, office parties, etc.
YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR: Attracting, onboarding, developing, and retaining high-performing team members for our Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen offices. Team size now across all offices is around 40 people, and the end of the year team target is 50-60 people. You will work closely with the managing director and the head of finance.
