Company: An International Financial Institution
Position: Human Resources & General Affairs Officer
Location: Hong Kong
RESPONSIBILITIES
Human Resources:
- Assist in general HR functions including recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance management, training & development & staff relations
- Participate in day-to-day HR operation including but not limited to on-boarding, benefit administration, HRIS update, insurance plans, pension schemes, talent movement, exit logistics, etc.
- Support market surveys, industry’s analysis and collect up-to-date market information to keep abreast on market trend
- Provide effective and customer-oriented services and advices to employees and HR counterparts related to company's policies and HR related ordinances
- Prepare both regular and ad hoc management reports
- Assist in the implementation and administration of firm-wide HR initiatives and projects, such as benefit enhancement, policies review, etc.
- Prepare work visa and dependent visa application for Expatriates and their family, including the subsequent visa extension issues
- Assist in staff functions and other activities, including Term-end Party, Annual Dinner and Spring Dinner for company
- Assist in ad hoc assignment
General Affairs:
- Provide support including expatriate housing, office administration, facilities management, office equipment repair & maintenance, budget forecast, policy & manual review and payment & expenses
- Review, formulate and implement administration policies and procedures
- Assist to prepare various reports
- Maintain and monitor fixed asset records, security and access control system, telephone system and office supplies inventories
- Perform ad-hoc assignments as required
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Human Resources Management or relevant discipline is preferable
- Around 2 years of relevant experience in HR & Admin; previous working experience in banking or financial industry is preferred
- Able to work independently, good problem-solving skills and attend to details
- Proactive and positive working attitude, willing to learn and take up responsibilities
- Proficient in MS Office
- Good command of spoken and written English
