Regional HR Manager – Listed IT MNC

Our client is a well-known listed IT MNC. They are now looking for a Regional HR Manager to join their growing team. Successful candidates should have solid experience in regional HR functions.

 Job Description

  • Partner with country leadership teams and functional heads in developing people strategies and initiatives, organizational interventions, change management, annual business planning, capability building including deployment of HR processes and programs in the locations to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement regional/local organizational development initiatives to build a high performing culture, drive productivity and value creation, employee engagement and develop organizational capabilities to achieve the desired future state.
  • Develop a great place to work in locations. Deploy survey, conduct results analysis including focus groups, develop and implement key actions to close gaps and drive positive employee engagement.
  • Process lead and ensure timely deployment of various core HR programs (e.g. HRIS, HR metrics, reports and analytics, talent acquisition, engagement and culture, recognition, etc.) to enhance talent retention, engagement & development in the region.
  • Lead manpower resources planning, develop and execute hiring strategy to support business needs, ensure operational excellence and cost-effective decisions for the respective markets.
  • Ensure talent pipeline and development plan are in place for critical roles in the respective markets. Identify talent gaps, develop and implement development plans to support talent and succession plans.
  • Conduct training needs analysis, develop annual training and development plan, and ensure timely implementation of training and development plan to build capabilities of people managers and employees in the organization.
  • Manage full spectrum of HR operations for the employee life cycle including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Establish and ensure HR processes, policies, and practices are compliant with local statutory and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in human resources management with strong business partnering experience in a regional and/or managerial capacity from MNCs. Experiences in IT / Telecommunications / Consultancy or relevant industries is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HK Labor Law, experiences in China, South East Asia and other countries are advantages.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (both written and verbal) is required.
  • Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels in a highly diverse, multicultural and matrix work environment.
