The Role
To provide operational support to the School’s administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

• To support the daily operation of the School Office and provide frontline service support when necessary;
• To handle telephone and email enquiries from parents;
• To assist in managing pupil database records processed by the School Office;
• To prepare parent circulars, student references, newsletters and administrative forms
• Organising and maintaining schedules and managing appointments;
• Support in translations between parents and teaching/management staff as needed;
• To be responsible for the inventory of office supplies, equipment, school materials and stationery;
• To support school activities and event such as Parents’ events and staff functions; and
• To undertake other duties pertinent to the scope of the position, as required by the Office Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Associate Degree/Higher Diploma in administration or equivalent;
• Bi-lingual (English and Chinese);
• Minimum of 3 years administrative experience, preferably in school administration;
• Experience working in an international school setting is preferred;
• Mature, self-motivated, detail-minded with a strong sense of responsibility;
• Willing to learn new skills as required;
• Positive attitude;
• Good communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills with people from different backgrounds;
• Strong organizational abilities and time management skills;
• Collaborative and willing to work as part of a team;
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel and the ability to quickly understand sophisticated software;
• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge;
• Sense of humour; and
• Able to translate between English and Chinese and vice versa with a high degree of accuracy in both verbal and written contexts.
