We are looking for a highly-driven and motivated Senior Payroll Executive to join our fun, professional and dedicated Finance Department based here in Hong Kong.  The Finance team acts as a key contributor in improving foodpanda’s financial performance with BI-assisted FP&A and financial reporting teams; protecting the company’s interest with its Governance, Risk and Compliance (“GRC”) and legal teams, while engaging in business strategies together with the digital payments, payroll and procurement teams. You will be working as the core member in the Payroll team within the Finance department to manage day-to-day payroll operations. Besides maintaining data in the payroll system in a timely manner, the payroll team also participates in payroll analysis and projects.  

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operations including monthly payroll processing, final payment & sales bonus calculation, MPF & tax administration, and work injuries compensation etc
• Partner with other teams to ensure smooth and accurate payroll processing
• Update and maintain data in payroll system on a timely basis
• Answer the general enquiries on payroll calculation 
• Prepare regular payroll related reports for internal use 
• Assist in ad-hoc payroll analysis / projects

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related disciplines
• 3 year of experience in performing payroll functions, in MNC and E-commerce industries
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Associate Payroll Manager
• Immediately available or short notice is preferred
• Solid knowledge of Hong Kong Employment related regulations 
• Excellent command in G Suite & MS Office
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proactive, responsible, detail-minded with the ability to manage multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines
