Responsibilities:

• Perform recurrent settlement tasks including payment matching, daily trade transactions and reconciliation;
• Handle daily operations related to stock and CCASS including but not limited to IPO placement, transfer and reconciliation;
• Handle Nominees and Custodian Services activities including corporate action, entitlement, securities collaterals and ensure all instructions from clients are timely and efficiently executed;
• Monitor the collateral exposure instantly to ensure the proper actions are taken for credit risk control purposes;
• Communicate with banks, payment agents, fund houses, in-house counterparties and/ or client services effectively;
• Participate in system development projects, in particular during user requirement collection, UAT, system migration and deployment;
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree, preferably from Banking or Finance disciplines (basic knowledge in financial products is an added advantage);
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in handling Securities Settlement will be an advantage;
• Familiar with Euroclear & CCASS operation is preferred;
• Cooperative, responsible, detail-minded and meticulous person with a positive attitude, good stress management and fast-paced working style;
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Immediate availability or a short notice period will be an advantage.
