Our Transaction services team is expanding with a new opportunity to join as a Manager under the Securities Transfer team. This role will be based in Kowloon Bay in our Megabox office.

A role you will love

The Transaction Services Securities Transfer Manager is responsible for overseeing the whole share movement process, update the requirement of regulations to the procedure from time to time, ensure the transactions processed are complied with the regulations. This role is also responsible for participating in various projects related to USM, digitization, etc.

Other key accountabilities will include:

  • Monitor all transfer transactions including business continuity with more than sufficient contingency plans.
  • Identify signs of potential issue, near miss and red flags in resolve any inherent or emerging risks
  • Track and assess key performance and control indicators as part of the control assessment to help the transfer function including offshore vendor to maintain an acceptable risk level in the daily operating environment
  • Take up projects and drive initiatives where assigned to and support new product development e.g. USM, Digitization, etc
  • Review corporate transfer documentation and follow up with relevant parties
  • Develop and review operational procedures, oversee reporting and control for transfer transactions
  • Work in close partnership with different offices mainly in Australia, UK and the US
  • Keep all relevant functions up to audit readiness at all time

What will you bring to the role?  

To deliver excellent services to our clients, this role requires strong organizational, leadership and multi-tasking skills to meet tight deadlines. You will need a degree preferably in finance to truly understand and succeed in this role.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • 4-6 years of experience in securities or banking industry, of which 2 years in supervisory role
  • Degree holder in any discipline, preferably in Finance
  • Keen to grow career in registry and issuer space
  • Team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-minded
  • Attention to details, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficient in PC skills including MS Excel and Word
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, good command in Mandarin will be an advantage
