One of the largest Fintech group in Hong Kong is expanding its operations. As part of this expansion, they’re looking to hire an experienced Senior Operational Risk Manager to join them in a role overseeing workflow of their operation team and building up internal policies.

Responsibilities:

This role will be reporting to Head of Legal and Compliance  

• Develop the framework, policies and guidelines in relation to operational risk management
• Identify and assess key operational risks and give recommendations for risks mitigation
• Devise and apply tools for risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of operational risk
• Manage operational risks arising from new products and other activities

• Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Accounting or other related professional qualification
• 5+ years’ experience in operational risk management within banking and financial markets
• Sound knowledge of banking operations, products and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication skill, strong command in Chinese and English  
• Facilitation of operational risk incident reporting including investigation and follow-up
