Job Description
Our client is a PRC full license (SFC 1,2,4,5,6,9) investment bank, fund house. They are now looking for an expansion in their buy side business hence looking for a capable bonds prop trader to join their team and manage the investment for their own book.
Responsibilities:
- Manage bond investment portfolio management, including fixed income products, hedging products including interest rate futures and IRS.
- Ensure all key risk indicators are in compliance with internal limits and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and research on fixed income securities and markets
- Develop investment and trading strategies responding to market change.
- Prepare credit proposals, market researches and market updates.
Requirement:
- Minimum 2 years solid experience in bonds or fixed income trading, previous exposure to book management is preferable
- Candidate who is able to speak in fluent Mandarin will have an advantage.
- Degree holder, preferably in finance, economics or computer science
- Proficient in Bloomberg system is a must
- Knowledge of Broadridge OMS & PMS
- Fluency in speaking Mandarin (or basic Mandarin plus strong in Simplified Chinese typing), English and Cantonese
- Immediate availability is preferred
