Job Description
This is a senior post, where you will be leading a sizable team across accounts receivable, payable, expense management, banking and treasury transactions respectively.
Also, you are tasked with driving the respective change management/ process reengineering of key finance projects (IFRS17, IFRS9, SAP implementation, RBC etc).

Main Responsibility
- Plan, drive and monitor efficient operation across premium collections, payments, system settlements, reconciliations and analysis, credit controls, treasury & cash management transactions, and expense allocation.
- Review and enhance operating procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of finance operation and reporting processes
- Advise the management and business units on critical issues, strategies and development in relation to finance operations
- Implement Group and local policies in order to adhere to the relevant compliance procedures and obtain satisfactory assessment from audit and regulator
- Manage key stakeholders in HO, Regional Office, local business units, peers, external consultants, regulators and auditors
- Mentor and develop the staff members to ensure a high quality and technically strong team
- Support the external audit activities to ensure smooth limited reviews and year end audit
Qualification and Experience Requirement
- 12 – 15 years of Finance & Accounting and/ or audit experience in insurance business, with 5+ years in middle management positions.
- Good finance and accounting knowledge in a life and/or non-life insurance businesses.
- Good knowledge of new accounting standards like IFRS 17 & IFRS 9
- Proficiency in Windows application and other computer software (i.e. Insurance application systems, SUN/ SAP Accounting, Investment Accounting, Expense management, procurement, etc.)
- CPA, Master Degree and/or comparable/recognised professional accounting qualification.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
