KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

As part of the Post Trade Operations Hong Kong team our operations senior specialists for Markets and Treasury products are managing all back office related activities to serve global and local customers of the CIB business line.

• Processing and validation of FX/MM/OTC derivatives/Fixed Income traded globally and locally including all back office related activities
• Management of confirmations on/off platform for FX/MM/OTC derivatives/Fixed Income products according to international market standards (e.g. ISDA)
• Monitoring of Continuous Linked Settlement (CLS) processing
• Tracking and resolution of outstanding trade, confirmation, settlement and reconciliation discrepancies adhering to internal and external regulations and market best practices
• Participating in process improvement initiatives by partnering und building relationships with stakeholders in ICT, CIB business and other support functions along the value chain
• Assist with compliance reviews and audits
• Prepare regular reports to track the status of open queries and other key performance indicators
• Deal with various kind of incoming client and internal enquiries in a timely manner

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven track record with at least 5 years of experience in similar position
• Excellent functional knowledge on financial market products (FX/MM/OTC/Fixed Income) and related operations processes, and systems (Creation Online, Murex, Calypso, Fusion Banking Midas, SWIFT etc.) used
• Solid technical skills to handle variety of systems and information simultaneously 
• Good time management skills and the ability to organize and prioritize work in a busy environment with ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
• Proactive approach to problem solving and providing solutions for our customers
• Good MS-Office skills, especially Excel
• Fluent in English
