Job Description

• Work with various sources including Cyberport, Hong Kong Science Park and other partners to source good potential green technology and IOT start-ups to join Baguio Acceleration Program
• Select good potential start-ups that could leverage on Baguio platform to fast track commercialization and acceleration
• Research and understand government future projects and help start-ups to open the doors
• Support the growth of portfolio companies: door-opening, coaching, and exploration of customers and partners
• Understand future trends and select the appropriate start-ups to join the Acceleration Program

• Identify appropriate partners that can capture new business opportunities for Baguio & portfolio companies
• Research for new opportunities. Local and overseas

•  Assist portfolio companies to pitch to various potential local and overseas investors interested to early stage investment

Requirement

• Deep experience in running accelerators or incubation programmes with start-ups
• Prior relevant working experience in Cyberport and/or Hong Kong Science Park is a plus
• Investment experience in early stage funds and/or family office is a plus
• Network in Asia and Hong Kong in particular: innovations teams at green technologies in corporates, governments agencies, universities, venture investors, entrepreneurs
• Sectorial knowledge of the Smart City, IOT & green technology
• Think out-of-the-box with entrepreneurial spirit and hunger for success
