Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise overall operations of import and export trade services and SWIFT processing
- Ensure daily work flows are maintained in compliance with Bank's policy, operational procedures and regulatory requirements
- Establish and develop operational policies and procedures
- Initiate change of work steps/or systems software to improve efficiency, effectiveness and quality of the Department
- Identify and convey potential problems and/or risks to the management to protect the Bank's interest
- Provide up-to-date trade services knowledge and job-related training to the team members for staff development
- University degree in Banking and Finance or related disciplines
- Subject matter expert in Trade Services Operations with minimum 15 years of experience in letter of credit, documentary collections operations especially global trade and commodity financing practice under ICC UCP Publication, market standard documentation via both paper-based or electronic issuance and exchange
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managerial role
- Certified Documentary Credits Specialist would be an advantage
- Good administrative, operational and people management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Word and Excel
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
