Job Description
As an Analyst, a typical day might include the following:
- Assist in research and analyze various financial/capital markets issues and wider industry trends that are of interest to our clients and prospects
- Analyze client share price performance, identify trends, provide potential explanations and insights
- Monitor consensus estimates and financial performance metrics of clients and peers
- Assist in in-house research on client information and maintenance of databases
- Prepare drafts of, translate and edit corporate / investor collateral, including results announcement materials, corporate presentations, factsheets, press releases and regular/ad hoc reports
- On-going client relationship management
This job might be for you if:
- You exhibit strong business acumen, a genuine interest in and knowledge of the capital markets, have strong data analytics and numeracy skills and have a good understanding of the financial services industry
- You are a bachelor’s degree holder or above, preferably in economics, finance, computer science, accounting, communications, business administration or related discipline
- You have 1-2 years of research, data analysis, investment management, financial communications experience; technology and new economy sector experience is a plus
- You have good understanding on financial statements
- You have excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills, you are proactive and a team-player
- You have solid experience in using Microsoft suite applications and data visualization tools
- You have solid experience in using financial data platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, FactSet)
- You are fluent in Mandarin and English
