DNA Recruit Partners is partnering up with a Global Foreign banking Group,  they provide  comprehensive and quality financial services to corporate & Investment Banking clients across the globe. As part of large business expansion, an in-house Compliance opportunity has arisen for experienced professionals to join their Legal & compliance team, this is an in-house general compliance role, in accordance with HKMA regulations,  AML/CTF focus role (Korean Speaking).

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a register of all suspicious transaction reports made by the employees to the Compliance manager
• Assist the dissemination of correspondences from regulators and their record keeping.
• Serve as a central reference point for reporting suspicious transactions and as the main point of contact with the Joint Financial Intelligence Unit (JFIU), law enforcement agencies and HKMA if required.
• Handle account opening requirements are completed as per bank's policy and local regulations.
• Ensure the proper KYC and CDD are conducted to establish customer profile including source of income and proper name screening against negative lists.
• Conduct AML/CTF customer risk assessment of new and existing branch clients and accounts as per frequency
• Keep updated with latest regulations / instructions pertaining to AML / CFT / KYC / issued by Local Regulator.
• Ensure timely update of all manual lists and/or database‐system

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holder in Finance & Accounting or equivalence
• Native in Korean or (TOPIK level 5 Qualifier) speaking is a *MUST*
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experiences in a compliance , KYC, AML/CFT role in any Banking group or Financial institutions (SFC licensed firms)   
• Familiar with KYC, AML/CFT and account documentation with knowledge of corporate banking procedure 
• Strong experience on client management with outstanding presentation and communication skills
• Good Team player, motivation, strategic skills to drive success and create win-win solutions
