Job Description
The Hong Kong Sports Institute Limited (“HKSI”) is the Government’s delivery agent of elite sports training systems. The HKSI’s mission is to provide an environment in which sports talent can be identified, nurtured and developed to pursue excellence in the international sporting arena benchmarked at Major Games results. We are now inviting suitable candidates for the following vacancy:
THE JOB
Reporting to the Head Billiard Sports Coach, the Assistant Billiard Sports Coach will be responsible for the following duties:
- To help coordinate, design, and implement training programmes for elite youth athletes in Hong Kong;
- To fully utilize and integrate scientific, medical and other athlete support services into the elite training programme to enhance elite youth training outcomes;
- To assist with the administration and coordination of logistics, accounting, coaching and team resources related to local and overseas squad training and competitions; and
- To assist the HKSI and Hong Kong Billiards Sports Control Council with coach educationprogrammes.
Holder of a recognized coaching qualification equivalent to Hong Kong Coach Accreditation Programme Level 2 Certificate;
- A minimum of 2 years professional coaching experience;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- High level of computer literacy; and
- Awareness / knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong are an added advantage.

主要職責
助理桌球教練須向桌球總教練匯報工作情況，其職責詳列如下：
- 負責協助籌劃、設計及執行香港桌球青少年運動員訓練計劃；
- 在進行靑少年訓練計劃時，善用所有運動科學、醫療及其他為運動員而設的支援服務，以加
- 強訓練成果；
- 在安排運動員於本地及海外集訓或比賽時，須協助統籌有關行政管理、後勤、會計及資源分
- 配等工作；及
協助體育學院及香港桌球總會的教練培訓工作。
職位要求
- 大學學位或有關體育專業的大專文憑證書或同等學歷；持有等同香港教練級別評定計劃第二級教練証書的資歷；具備最少兩年專業教練經驗；
- 具備良好溝通能力及人際關係；
- 熟悉電腦操作；及
- 認識香港保護兒童及平等機會政策為佳。
