First 4 Figures is looking to hire a product designer that can design licensed character consumer merchandise from famous video game and anime licenses.  

Responsibilities 

• Product design of licensed character merchandise and lifestyle products
• Suggest innovative ideas and methods for reducing development timelines. 
• Manage the early phases of design and development with other disciplines within the company. 
• Present product line and strategy to senior management. 
• Guide through products development from design to production.
• Monitor product quality throughout production. Troubleshoot quality issues and provide corrective plan. 

• Portfolio must include licensed character consumer products
• Must be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and 2D computer programs.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Knowledge of material and manufacturing process.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication, influencing and follow up skills.
• Ability to facilitate diverse functional teams and forums.
• Knowledge of Design, Engineering and/or Project Management as applied to the development and manufacture of consumer products.
• Engineering and quality control experience.
• Knowledge of CAD including model making process and injection molding tool design is preferred.
