The ideal candidate would have a Bachelor or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Robotics/Mechatronics or equivalent and three to five years of work experience.  A strong academic background with experience in the following areas is recommended:

•            Create designs using prototypes, simulation and design of experiments.
•            Participate in Design Reviews, DFM and FMEA analysis.
•            Experienced in designing for large volume production in a wide range of manufacturing processes (CNC, laser welding/drilling, Molding operations, Extrusion, lamination, printing/s, plating/s, etc.).
•            Experience in meeting reliability requirements for mass production.
•            Experience in rapid 3-D visualization and hands-on prototyping.
•            Proven experience in applications with some or all of the following technology verticals: Displays, Batteries, Antennas, Acoustics.
•            Produce detailed models, drawings, bills of materials.
•            Strong 3-D solid modeling experience, Solidworks preferred.
•            Familiarity with ANSI level production documentation.
•            Experienced working cross-functionally with industrial design and product marketing specialists.
