Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for façade design for different projects in HK and overseas. Capable to design, understanding technical requirements and the basis of necessary calculations, verifications, tests, etc
- Produce working drawings/design in accordance with the specifications received from the client
- Liaising directly with the appropriate representatives to identify and agree all variations between the customers specifications/drawings and the tender documents
- Submitting designs for internal review and discussion and then on for client approval
- Providing technical calculations and where appropriate, the commissioning of a structural engineer to produce supporting structural calculations in line with the Design Programme
- Regularly liaising with other departments, Procurement, Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Production and Site Teams
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or above in Engineering / Building Studies or equivalent
- Minimum 3 - 7 years' experience in retail façade, curtain wall, glass wall, or bespoke façade design
- Strong technical abilities in building façade design and construction and familiar with different types of building materials (ie. Glass, Stone, GFRC and etc.)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience in using 3-D design software (ie. Rhino, Grasshopper, Catia, Digital Project, Inventor)
- Good sense of geometry and good command of working between 3D model and 2D shop drawings
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
- Fresh graduates with 3D design software skill (Rhino & Grasshopper) will be considered
